Your Ultimate Guide To Jewelry Sizing

When investing in fine jewelry, you want to ensure that you’re picking out the perfect piece on this blog post with we share everything you need to know about finding the perfect fit.

Beyond choosing the styles and stones to suit your personality and taste, sizing is essential to making a successful purchase. We’ve put together a series of guides for you to print out and use so that the next item you buy from our site will be just what you were expecting.

Please note: Before printing any of these guides, set the page scaling in your printer settings to “none” so the graphic isn’t distorted.

For your preferred necklace length

Using the indicated chain length for your desired piece, consult the images below to get a clear sense of where your necklace will land on your décolletage, neck, or chest.

A tip from Shay: Almost all of our necklaces are adjustable so they can be worn at different lengths. Our chokers are about 11 inches in length and can be adjusted up to 13.5 inches depending on how high or low on the neck you want yours to land. We also have small extension chains to lengthen your necklace in 2.5-inch increments.

Our average length for pendant necklaces is between 14.5 and 16 inches.

For your ring size

Take a strip of paper and wrap it around your finger. When the paper feels comfortably snug, use a marker to indicate where the end meets. Then, using a ruler, measure the paper up to the pen mark. Once you have your measurement, find your corresponding ring size for any finger using the guide below.

A tip from Shay: If you are in-between sizes go with the larger.

Ring Guide:  Sizes 5 - 9

 Pinky Guide:  Sizes 2-8

A tip from Shay: Our average pinky size (U.S.) is about a 3 or 3.5.

For your wrist size

Take a strip of paper and wrap it around your wrist. When the paper feels comfortably snug, use a marker to indicate where the end meets. Then, using a ruler, measure the paper up to the pen mark. Once you have your measurement, add 1.5cm to your measurement. You can add or subtract centimeters depending on how tight or loose you like your bracelets to fit.  Find your corresponding size for bracelets and bangles using the bracelet guide below.

A tip from Shay: Our average bracelet length is 6.5 inches and our average bangle size is 17 (U.S.), which land on the smaller end of the scale.

Additionally, our anklets are about 8.5 inches and can be adjusted up to 10 inches with an extension chain.
